Creative Arts Sessions provide an opportunity for people living with dementia, along with their carers, families, and friends, to come together in a relaxed, welcoming, and inspiring environment. These sessions offer a chance to explore creativity, express individuality, build confidence, and enjoy shared experiences through art-based activities.
As a Creative Arts Volunteer, you will play an important role in creating a warm, safe, and inclusive space where participants feel encouraged and supported to engage in creative activities. Working alongside staff and other volunteers, you will help set up materials, welcome attendees, support artistic activities, and encourage conversation and self-expression.
You will be part of a team that champions the rights of people affected by dementia to remain connected, creative, active, and involved in their community.
