We are Kent’s biggest independent charity, and an award-winning charity – Kent Charity of the Year 2024, who are dedicated to providing support to people affected by dementia.
Since 1991, we have been empowering people in north and west Kent and Medway to live well with dementia. Through our Dementia Support, Dementia Care and Dementia Wellbeing services, we aim to help people affected by dementia to manage their symptoms, stay engaged with family, friends and the wider community and take back control of their lives.
Every year, we conduct an extensive evaluation to measure our impact and see whether the services we deliver are meeting people’s needs. Our latest survey found that:
80% feel less lonely after accessing our services.
90% respondents say we champion the rights of people affected by dementia.
98% of people feel listened to by our team.
95% of people feel our team understand them and their needs.
