Anyone aged 16 and over with a caring attitude, good communication skills and a willingness to learn is welcome to apply. Some roles may suit people with specific skills, but most only require enthusiasm and reliability.
No, previous experience is not required. We provide training and support to help you feel confident in your role. Many volunteers join us to learn more about dementia.
Yes. All travel and any other expenses incurred while volunteering are fully covered.

It varies depending on the role. Some volunteers help once a week for a few hours, while others support events occasionally. We are happy to work around your availability.
Yes. All volunteers receive dementia awareness training and role-specific guidance. Ongoing support is always available.

Yes, most volunteer roles require a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which we will arrange for you at no cost.
