In her June blog in advance of the Green Paper expected at the end of the month, Jenny Owen reflects upon the pressing need to bring more resources in an equitable way into the social care system. But argues that meanwhile, using reverse auctions - so-called e-auctions - in order to put downward pressure on costs is best ruled out of the equation.
